Is the Annurca apple / procyanidin B2 research in ALOSOL ads a trial of this jar?
No. Kamimura is a topical tonic for 6 months in 29 men. Tenore AMS is another oral formula with a published methods critique. Neither is an ALOSOL SKU RCT. Millet and centella ads are not S3-recommended AGA drugs.
Red flags: when to see a clinician — not chase an apple extract
Sudden bald patches, scarring, fever or weight loss, chemotherapy or post-transplant immunosuppressants, or postpartum shedding plus other systemic symptoms — see a clinician now. Do not let ad percentages decide.
Screening:
AAD — Hair loss.
Telogen:
NCBI — Telogen Effluvium.
- Sudden round bald patches — think areata, not an apple-polyphenol layer
- Scalp that scars, is red and painful, or has thick scale
- Fever, unintentional weight loss, or severe fatigue
- Chemotherapy or post-transplant immunosuppressants — a different cause; see
hair loss after kidney transplant - Postpartum plus fever, abnormal bleeding, or low mood — not telogen alone
How do the papers ads cite differ from the ALOSOL jar?
Topical procyanidin B-2 and the Naples AMS formula are not RCTs of this SKU.
Sales copy may quote density percentages. This page does not repeat those figures as results of the ALOSOL jar, because there is no labeled RCT tying those percentages to this product.
Kamimura: 1% topical tonic for 6 months in 29 men
Kamimura et al. (PMID 11194183)
studied 1% procyanidin B-2 as a topical tonic in 29 men for 6 months.
That is a leave-on tonic — a different form from an oral capsule — and a different sample size from large-group ad language.
It is not a trial of the ALOSOL jar.
Tenore AMS 2018: another oral formula — with a methods critique
Tenore et al. (PMID 28956697)
studied an Annurca apple nutraceutical (AMS) taken by mouth — a Naples formula, not this jar’s label.
Keith et al. (PMID 31718391)
published a methods critique of that work.
The cell/keratin paper
PMID 31847069
is also an AMS layer, not an ALOSOL RCT.
Millet, centella, biotin, minerals — can they replace a hair-growth drug?
No. Sales copy about millet / miliacin and centella is not an S3-recommended AGA drug.
The
S3 short version (PMID 29178529)
assesses topical minoxidil around 6 months.
Biotin is not a proven AGA drug and may interfere with labs per
FDA.
Extra iron without deficiency does not treat AGA per
AAD.
Millet / miliacin and centella
If a label or clip names millet or centella, treat that as a supplement layer — not an order to stop minoxidil.

Layer comparison: topical procyanidin B-2 / Tenore AMS / ALOSOL jar / minoxidil
A 29-man topical study and the Naples AMS formula are not this jar’s label — topical minoxidil sits in a different layer.
| Source | Form | Population / duration | What that work studied | Why it is not this jar |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kamimura procyanidin B-2 | 1% topical tonic | 29 men · 6 months | Topical procyanidin B-2 — PMID 11194183 | Different form from an oral capsule; not the ALOSOL label |
| Tenore AMS 2018 | Oral nutraceutical, Naples formula | AMS formula — not this Thai SKU | Annurca apple AMS — PMID 28956697 | Different formula; methods critique PMID 31718391 |
| AMS cell/keratin paper | In-vitro / cell | Not people using a home jar | AMS mechanism — PMID 31847069 | A cell layer is not an ALOSOL RCT |
| ALOSOL jar (WELLMAX) | Oral dietary supplement | Marketplace copy often says ~2 months — read the label | No public RCT tying ad percentages to this SKU | This is the product itself — but it is not a drug and not Kamimura/Tenore |
| Topical minoxidil | Clinician-directed topical drug | Assess around 6 months per S3 | Guideline-recommended hair-growth drug layer | Different layer from a supplement; do not stop on your own |
Frequently asked questions
Is the Annurca / procyanidin B2 research in ads an RCT of this ALOSOL jar?
No. Kamimura is a 1% topical tonic for 6 months in 29 men. Tenore AMS is another oral Naples formula. Neither is an RCT of this SKU.
If an ad cites hundreds of apple papers, does that mean this jar was trialled?
No. A pile of apple-polyphenol literature is not a randomized trial of the ALOSOL jar, and it does not close the published methods critique of the AMS formula.
Does a PGI mark on Annurca apples prove this jar works?
PGI names the fruit’s geography. It is not an RCT certificate for a Thai supplement. Read the label in your hand. Do not treat PGI as a hair-growth drug.
What does a “3-times concentrate” claim in ads mean?
It is marketplace copy, not a drug dose and not an RCT result of this jar. This page does not convert a concentration multiplier into a hair-growth percentage.
Are millet or miliacin in ads S3-recommended AGA drugs?
No. S3 mainly assesses topical minoxidil around 6 months. Millet or miliacin in sales copy is not a hair-growth drug in that guideline.
Can centella in ads replace minoxidil?
No. Centella in a supplement is not an S3-recommended AGA drug, and it is not an order to stop minoxidil or finasteride.
Does biotin in the formula grow hair the way a drug does?
It is not a proven AGA drug. If the label lists biotin, the FDA warns it may interfere with lab tests. Tell the lab before troponin or thyroid blood draws.
Can zinc, iron, or selenium in the jar treat AGA on their own?
Extra iron when you are not deficient does not treat AGA per AAD. Zinc and selenium in a supplement are not hair-growth drugs, and they do not close a work-up if red flags are present.
Scientific mechanism (author synthesis)
Topical procyanidin and the Naples AMS formula are a different form from a Thai capsule. Apple polyphenols do not occupy the S3 hair-drug layer.
